GENERAL RULES
GENERAL
- BFSIM flight simulators offer a high level of reliability, with accurate system behavior, flight models, and more. They serve as excellent tools for procedure training, navigation training, and pilot assessment preparation.
- While BFSIM flight simulators are not certified by EASA or any aviation authority, they comply with most training standards and government regulations.
- BFSIM flight simulators can be used by pilots, student pilots, or even members of the general public with little to no aviation knowledge.
- All sessions on BFSIM flight simulators include the presence of an operator or instructor. They can never be used without supervision by individuals who have not been authorized by BFSIM.
- MINIMUM AGE: The recommended minimum age is 10, though 12 is preferable. Children shorter than 1.35m may not have a comfortable outside view when seated in the pilot’s seat. For children under 13, parental supervision is required.
- There is no maximum age limit, but access to the simulators requires a minimum level of mobility. If you have any doubts, please contact us at simcontact@bfsim.com.
- You will be refused access to the Flight Simulators if, in our reasonable opinion, you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or are physically incapable of using the simulator. In such cases, your session will be cancelled without a refund.
- If the duration of your session is shortened due to any of your actions, including but not limited to late arrival, requests for toilet breaks, sickness, or any physical restrictions while using the simulator, you will not be entitled to compensation or a refund.
- If the Flight Simulator experiences technical issues that reduce the quality or duration of your session, you will receive appropriate compensation as agreed upon between us. This compensation may take the form of extended flight time or a rescheduling of your session. All compensation will be provided in accordance with applicable local laws.
- As a condition of your purchase (or voucher usage) and agreement to use the BFSIM simulators, you agree to release and indemnify BFSIM, its employees, agents, and contractors from and against any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses of any kind that they may incur as a result of your use of the Flight Simulator.
- Please be aware that using a flight simulator may have side effects that vary from person to person. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether you are physically able to use the simulator.
- The BFSIM simulators replicate aircraft flight decks and require a degree of physical mobility for entry and exit, which may not be suitable for everyone. Additionally, the visual system is an LCD data-projected visual running at 60 Hz. If you have concerns about any physical limitations that may affect your experience, please check with us before your session.
- Animals are not permitted in the simulators or any areas accessible to the public.
INSURANCE AND LIABILITY
- BFSIM is not responsible for any accidents, personal injuries, or damages that occur before, during, or after the use of the simulators, except in cases where negligence on the part of BFSIM can be proven. By using our simulators and facilities, participants acknowledge and accept that they do so at their own risk. We recommend that individuals verify their personal insurance coverage prior to using our services, especially in cases of health concerns or mobility issues. BFSIM disclaims any liability for losses or damages caused by improper use of the simulators or failure to follow the instructions provided by our staff.
CONFIDENTIALITY FOR B2B EVENTS
- For all B2B events, including but not limited to product launches, corporate team building, or other private company events, BFSIM ensures that any proprietary or confidential information shared during the event will be treated with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. BFSIM commits to safeguarding sensitive business information and will not disclose it to third parties without prior consent. Clients are encouraged to notify BFSIM in advance if specific measures should be taken to protect their confidential information during the event.
PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
- All participants are expected to respect the facilities, staff, and other participants at all times. Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to disruptive conduct, disrespect towards staff or other participants, or damage to equipment, will not be tolerated. BFSIM reserves the right to remove any participant who fails to comply with these rules, without any compensation or refund. Furthermore, participants who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who appear to be physically unfit for the simulation experience, may be refused access, and their session may be forfeited without refund.
BOOKINGS
- Bookings can be rescheduled for free up to 48 hours prior the booked time.
- A refund request for a booking must be made at least 48 hours in advance to be valid. A fee will be applied based on the time of the request:

- Between 2 weeks and 1 month: 15% fee
- Between 1 week and 2 weeks: 25% fee
- Between 48 hours and 1 week: 50% fee
- Less than 48 hours: no refund possible.
- Bookings paid with gift vouchers are not eligible for refunds.
- In case of a “no show”, the session will be forfeited.
- In case of late arrival, your session will be shortened to avoid affecting subsequent sessions.
- In exceptional cases of force majeure (such as pandemic situations, major breakdowns, national strikes, power cuts, etc.), an appointment may be rescheduled. In such cases, no refund or reimbursement will be issued; BFSIM will offer the best possible options for rescheduling the appointment.
VOUCHERS / GIFT COUPONS DIRECTLY ISSUED BY BRUSSELS FLIGHT SIMULATORS
- By “Voucher,” we refer to all gift cards, coupons, or vouchers purchased to be redeemed for bookings.
- Vouchers issued by Brussels Flight Simulators are valid for 1 year, during which they can be redeemed. However, it is possible to book a session for a later date; the session itself is not subject to the voucher’s expiration, only the redemption of the voucher is limited to the 1-year validity period.
- Voucher validity can be extended by 1 year for a small fee (contact us with your voucher code to inquire about the cost).
- Vouchers are protected against any price increase during their validity period.
- Vouchers can be used for any simulator other than the one originally selected. If the new session is priced higher, you will need to pay the difference at checkout. However, if the new session is priced lower, no refund or credit will be issued for the remaining value.
- Vouchers do not display a monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts.
- Refund requests made within 14 days of an online purchase will incur an administrative fee of 15% of the purchase price, with a minimum of €15. After 14 days from the purchase date, no refunds will be granted. A refund request for a voucher can only be made by the original purchaser, and only if the voucher was purchased directly from Brussels Flight Simulators, either via the official website or in person at the office.
VOUCHERS ISSUED BY PARTNERS AND THIRD PARTIES
- The same rules apply to these vouchers, except that BFSIM has no control over expiry dates, refunds, or any specific terms set by third parties.

However, no additional compensation can be claimed in such cases.
- Eating or drinking is prohibited inside the Flight Simulators.
- Entry to the Flight Simulators will be denied if, in our reasonable opinion, you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if you are physically incapable of using the simulator. In this case, no refund will be provided.
- If the duration of your event is shortened due to your actions, such as late arrival, no compensation or refund will be offered.
- If technical problems occur with the Flight Simulator that reduce the quality or duration of your session, appropriate compensation will be provided as agreed upon. This may include extending the flight time or rescheduling the event. All compensation will be in accordance with applicable local laws.
- As a condition of your event and your agreement to use BFSIM facilities, you agree to release and indemnify BFSIM, its employees, agents, and contractors from and against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses they may incur as a result of your use of BFSIM installations.
- You acknowledge that the use of a flight simulator can sometimes cause side effects that vary between individuals. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that all participants are physically able to use the Flight Simulator.
- The BFSIM Flight Simulators replicate aircraft flight decks and require a certain degree of physical mobility for entering and exiting, which may not be suitable for all individuals. Additionally, the visual system is an LCD data projection running at 60 Hz. Please contact us before your event if you or any participants have concerns regarding physical limitations that could affect the experience.
