FUN FLIGHTS & PRO FLIGHTS

DEFINITIONS

  • BFSIM is the short name of Brussels Flight Simulators.
  • All prices are in EURO currency, even if the “€” symbol does not appear for whatever the reason.
  • Flight simulator session(s) will be referred to as “session(s)” or “flight session(s)”.
  • A “Fun Flight” (session) means a flight simulator session for non-professional people.
  • A “Pro Flight” (session) means a flight simulator session for pilots or student pilots.
  • Vouchers, boarding pass, gift pass or any other third-party coupons will all be referred to as “vouchers”.

GENERAL RULES

GENERAL
  • BFSIM flight simulators have a high level of reliability with accurate behaviour of the systems, flight model, etc. They are good procedure trainer, navigation trainer, pilots’ assessments preparation tools, etc. 
  • BFSIM flight simulators are not certified by EASA or any aviation authority; however, they comply with most training standards and government regulation.
  • BFSIM flight simulators can be used by pilots, student pilots or even the general public with little or no aviation knowledge.
  • Sessions on BFSIM flight simulators always include the presence of an operator or an instructor, as the case may be. They can never be handled without supervision by people who have not been authorized by BFSIM.
  • MINIMUM AGE: the recommended minimum age is 10, although 12 is better. Children less than 1m40 will not have a comfortable outside view when seated on pilots’ seats. For children under 13 parental supervision is required.
  • There is no maximum age, however access to the simulators requires a minimum of mobility. If in doubt, please contact us at simcontact@bfsim.com.
  • You will be refused entry to the Flight Simulators if, in our reasonable opinion, you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or physically incapable of using a Flight Simulator. In this situation, your session will be cancelled without refund.
  • If the duration of your session is reduced as a result of any of your actions, including but not limited to, your late arrival, your request for a toilet break, sickness or any physical restriction you experience in the Flight Simulator, you will not be entitled to any compensation or a refund.
  • If the Flight Simulator encounters technical problems which reduce the quality or duration of your session, you will receive appropriate compensation as agreed between us. This compensation may be an extension of the flight time or a rescheduling of your session. All compensations will be in accordance with any applicable local law.
  • As a condition of your purchase (or usage of a voucher) and your agreement to use the BFSIM simulators, you agree to release and indemnify BFSIM and all of its employees, agents and contractors from and against all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses of whatever nature which any of them may suffer, incur or become liable to as a result of your use of the Flight Simulator.
  • You appreciate that a flight simulator can sometimes have side effects which vary with each individual. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether you are physically capable of using the Flight Simulator.
  • The BFSIM simulators replicate flight decks of aircrafts and require a degree of physical mobility for entering and exiting that may not be suitable for some people. In addition, the visual system used is a LCD data projected visual running at 60 Hz. Please check with us prior to your Flight Session if you have any concerns about any physical restrictions that may affect your experience.
  • BFSIM Flight Simulators have a high level of reliability with accurate behaviour of the systems, flight model, etc. They are good procedure trainer, navigation trainer, pilots’ assessments preparation tools, etc. Anyway, they are not certified by EASA or any aviation authority. Compliance with airline training standards and government regulation is the responsibility of the user.
  • Animals are not allowed, neither in the simulators, nor in spaces accessible to the public.
BOOKINGS
  • Bookings can be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior the booked time.
  • If you cancel a booking more than 48 hours before your session, the session can be moved freely to another day; instead of moving the session, we can also offer a voucher of the same value. If the initial booking was made with a promotional code, the voucher value will be the amount actually paid.
  • No cancellation or change made by the customer will be permitted within 48 hours before the booked time. In case of late cancellation (less than 48 hours) or no-show, no refund or rescheduling will be possible, .
  • Exceptionally, cases of force majeure may result in an appointment being rescheduled (covid-19, major breakdowns, national strikes, power cuts, etc.). In this case there will be no refund or reimbursement. BFSIM will offer the best options for making a new appointment.
VOUCHERS DIRECTLY ISSUED BY BRUSSELS FLIGHT SIMULATORS
  • There is no expiry date on the vouchers issued by Brussels Flight Simulators.
  • Vouchers are protected against any price increase for 1 year. After this period, a possible supplement to be paid may be requested from the beneficiary during checkout, in order to correspond to the actual current price of the session concerned.
  • Vouchers can be used on any other simulator than the one initially chosen; if the chosen session has a higher price, you will have to pay the difference at the checkout. However, if the chosen session has a lower price, there will be no refund nor any remaining value on the voucher.
  • Vouchers do not show a price for which they are valid and can never be redeemed for cash.
  • Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts. 
VOUCHERS ISSUED BY PARTNERS AND THIRD PARTIES
  • The same rules apply on these vouchers, except that BFSIM has no control on expiry dates, refunds, and any particular characteristics stated by third parties.
PRICING
  • An overview of the Fun Flight pricing can be found here (however not 100% certified – to get the correct current price, always refer to our website online calculator when configuring a session).
REFUNDS
  • Refund requests made within 14 days of purchase will incur a admin cost of 10% of the purchase price, with a minimum of 10,00 EUR. After the elapse of 14 days from the purchase date, no refunds will be granted.
  • The refund of a voucher can only be requested by the purchaser, in the conditions above, and only if the voucher was bought directly at Brussels Flight Simulators via the official website or at the office.

TEAM BUILDINGS & OTHER EVENTS

DEFINITIONS

  • BFSIM is the short name of Brussels Flight Simulators.
  • All prices are in EURO currency, even if the “€” symbol doesn’t appear for whatever the reason.
  • While B2C and private events will most of time include it, B2B prices and conditions never include VAT (21%). Please check carefully what is stated on e-mails, offers, quotations or website.
  • Team Buildings, Product Launch Events and any other Private or Company Events will all be referred to as “event(s)”.

PAYMENTS, REFUNDS, CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & OTHER CONDITIONS

  • Any event requires a down payment / deposit of 50% as a confirmation.
  • The final balance of 50% has to be paid at least 7 days before the event.
  • In case of cancellation by the customer more than 21 days before the event, a refund can be requested but will incur a admin cost of 10% of the total price.
  • In case of cancellation by the customer between 7 days and 21 days before the event, the initial deposit of 50% will not be refunded.
  • In case of cancellation by the customer between 3 days and 7 days before the event, 75% of the total price is due.
  • In case of cancellation by the customer less than 3 days before the event, 100% of the total price is due.
  • The day and/or time of your event may be changed up to 7 days before.
  • No major change of day and/or time will be permitted within 7 days before your event.
  • If the event must be cancelled due to force majeure (imposed sanitary closure, general breakdown of power, services or machines, state of war, riots, earthquakes, extraordinary bad weather), the customer will be reimbursed in full; however, in this case no additional compensation can be claimed by the customer.
  • It is forbidden to eat or drink in the Flight Simulators.
  • You will be refused entry to the Flight Simulators if, in our reasonable opinion, you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or physically incapable of using a Flight Simulator. In this situation, there will be no refund.
  • If the duration of your event is reduced as a result of any of your actions, including but not limited to, your late arrival, you will not be entitled to any compensation or refund.

  • You appreciate that a Flight Simulator can sometimes have side effects which vary with each individual. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether all participants are physically capable of using the Flight Simulator.
  • The BFSIM Flight Simulators replicate flight decks of aircrafts and require a degree of physical mobility for entering and exiting that may not be suitable for some people. Please check with us prior to your event if you or any participant have any concerns about any physical restrictions that may affect the experience.
